IAC Chapter 10 FUN DAY June 7, 2007
Saturday, June
6 was the Aerobatic Club's first fun day. Our monthly meetings are the
first Monday of the month, and fun days are the Saturday following the first
Monday of the month.
Paul Jennings
flew his glider beautifully, and was critiqued by Allison Parker-Lauck, the
US Unlimited Team member who recently moved to Collinsville from California.
Greg Shelton
dusted off the cobwebs with his spectacular Stearman. Lots of noise, smoke,
close to the ground and very exciting!
Several other
aircraft were spotted: a T-6 dropped by, a Hughes helicopter practiced
hovering, and a beautiful Easter egg blue Fairchild 24 taxied by.
